Your Mission

As a teacher in Science and Mathematics at Stenbergaskolan, you will teach students in grades 7-9 and be responsible for creating an inspiring teaching environment that fosters learning and curiosity. You will plan and conduct lessons based on the curriculum goals while adapting the instruction to meet each student's individual needs. The role also includes following up and evaluating students' knowledge development and actively working to promote an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in both work teams and subject groups and contribute to the school's overall development.

Workplace Description

Stenbergaskolan is located in the industrial community of Ljusne at the mouth of the Ljusnan River. We are close to forests, rivers, and the sea. The school area includes Ljusne Preschool, adapted primary school, and primary school grades F-9. The public library and school library share facilities. The two school buildings are from the 1950s and 1970s and have been renovated several times over the years to adapt to the operations. The primary school has about 300 students distributed across 16 classes and approximately 50 staff members.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is clear and structured in their leadership and has the ability to build good relationships with both students and colleagues. You work purposefully and have a genuine interest in seeing each student succeed. You are engaged, attentive, and motivated to create a safe and positive environment where students can grow and develop. A teaching license with qualifications in Science and Mathematics is required for this position.
